Perseverance is one of the greatest virtues we can cultivate. It is never too late to make a difference. Every day is a chance to try again.

For though we must pass through the desert of Lent to come to the joy of Easter, we hold in our hearts the knowledge that the battle against death is already won.

As we remember and reflect upon this year's March for Life, we should have so much hope for the future of our nation.

As we enter this new year, let us take a moment to express our gratitude to God for giving us Mary as our heavenly mother, and to thank Him for our wonderful mothers who care for us every day.

At the point where what we are attacking is a person or group of people, rather than an ideology and a tangible evil, we've already lost. In many ways this is already happening, and it needs to stop.

Being pro-life means so much more than just being anti-abortion. It reminds us that life is beautiful and that each person is a gift.

We are fighting a hard battle, but ours is not against an enemy we can see. Daily, we fight against abortion, praying for victory not for ourselves, but for all of the unborn.

We must do all that is in our power to stop the slaughter of millions of unborn children, but how can we expect to change the world if we can’t change the same mindset in ourselves?

We must strongly oppose the evils of abortion, but we must not let our anger at these evils drive us to scorn and hate people who are confused by the world’s lies. We can only win them over to the Pro-Life movement if we exemplify the charity and respect that should characterize our movement.
